NJHS member, NOLAN ARBUCKLE, enjoys 4-H, football, baseball, farming, and hunting. Nolan said that his strongest pillar of NJHS is character, because he is honest, hard-working, and motivated. Through 4-H, Nolan has been able to do many service projects, of which he is very proud! If Nolan had to tell someone something about NJHS, he would say "doing community service makes you feel good."
NJHS "is a good thing and it is good to help people and do community service." That's what DEVIN BEVIER states about NJHS. Devin balances his love of academics with his love of athletics. He is active in basketball and enjoys skateboarding. Character is the National Junior Honor Society pillar where Devin thinks he is the strongest, because he tries his best to do the right thing and help people when he can. His favorite service project involved working with his church and providing car washes to the community.
Service is the National Junior Honor Society Pillar that AUDREY GILLILAND feels best represents her. She has "always loved helping at elderly homes, helping at school or taking care of little kids." Audrey also takes admissions, cleans church, and decorates for others. She also enjoys choir, Lego animating, reading, and cooking. Audrey states that NJHS is great for people who are responsible and helpful. "I love NJHS!"
